It was great pleasure giving full production services for the TV Commercial created by JWT for Shine range and Serum product of Unilever’s hair care brand Sunsilk. The commercials starring Bjanca, the captivating Russian R&B star, were shot in 3 days in October 2008 in Istanbul  and will be broadcasted primarily in Russia and Ukraine.  Post production was held in 1000 Volt Istanbul for Telecine, Offline and sound mixing, as well as in Wit by Method Studios Paris for online. We had wonderful time working with the multinational cast and crew directed by Malik Hassan Sayeed from RSA and hope to have them here again soon.

Here is another project we really enjoyed providing complete production services. A TV Commercial “Can do magic!”, created by Advantage Adv.& Marketing Agency-Cairo for Saudi Arabian market, directed by our exclusive director Rani Carmeli, for the biggest Saudi Arabian sugar brand Al Osra. We shot in a very warm atmosphere and had a nice final by eating the delicious cakes prepared by our lovely Foodstylist Nurit Barnitzky with Al Osra that everybody dreamed of during the shootings!

Justin Bartha as Aram in Bart Freundlich’s last feature film “The Rebound” has just passed through Istanbul in search of himself, on a journey from Far East to West, getting more and more mature in each step. We enjoyed giving services for the film as well as meeting the rest of the crew and cast members including beautiful Catherine Zeta Jones.

Karma Films crew has just had the chance of meeting Giancarlo Fisichella, Italian world-wide famous F1 racing pilot of Force India – Ferrari team in person, cooperating with SKY TV P&P for a TV promotion film shot in Formula1 race in Istanbul in May. We hope this first experience will lead to a long-term relation between Sky P&P and Karma Films.

Karma Films is proud to be part of “The Thomas Crown Affair 2” of MGM & The Irish Dreamtime, starring Pierce Brosnan. First location scout has been successfully completed with the participation of Paul Verhoeven, Beau St.Clair, Jeff Kleeman and Cornelia Ott in November 2007 and pre-production will start in Spring 2008.
